Part of the East Anglia Pub Co. family for over 15 years, The Exchange is a modern Southend pub serving great value food, featuring live sports on TV, live music, and outdoor seating.
The new-look Exchange Bar and Kitchen with a fresh refurbishment, following over 15 busy years in our group, serving up great food, drink and entertainment to the Southchurch Road community. Every Saturday over the coming weeks, we'll be providing some extra-special offers and fabulous entertainment to celebrate.
The Exchange is a unique building, bursting with character, thanks to its interesting financial history. In a previous life, it operated as a Barclay’s Bank, before the building was bought at auction in 2002. The venue has since been developed into a modern, fresh pub for the local community. The Exchange celebrates this financial history through its name, and we’re making genius use of the original bank vault as our beer cellar!
Our renewed focus will be to provide you with an incredible variety of drinks and fresh, homecooked food, whilst still providing fantastic service, and complimentary bar snacks each evening.
Our philosophy is to give you the best Saturday night out in Southend - the whole of Essex even! We've got some amazing entertainment lined up for the coming months.
We look forward to seeing you!
